Yes! If you are working from a desktop without a microphone, or for some reason can’t use the mic on your computer, you have the ability to call into your session from a cell phone or landline. This is essential so that you can provide feedback to your expert during your session.

If it's the first time you're launching Zoom

You might get a pop-up message asking which audio you’d like to use: Join by Phone or Computer Audio. To call into your session, select Join by Phone and follow the onscreen instructions.

Note: When you join by phone, it's just the audio. You'll still see a video feed from your expert on your computer.

If it's not the first time you've launched Zoom:

You’ll have one small extra step to make. In the bottom lefthand corner of the video window, there’s an icon of a microphone. Click on the up arrow (^) to the right of that icon and select “Audio Options...” At the top of the window that pops up, select “Join by Phone.” Please follow the onscreen instructions to dial into the call and you’re all set!

Here's a demo of adjusting the settings by Alex, our COO.

International Dial In

If you're calling in from an international number, here's a comprehensive list of international dial-in numbers from our videoconference software provider, Zoom. You'll want to use one of these!

As always, if you have any problems getting into your session, please email [email protected], or use the chat tool in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen.
