Yes, we call this the Booking Buffer. Your booking buffer controls the earliest time a client can book a session with you. You can edit your booking buffer from your availabilities page.
For example, if you decrease the waiting period to 2 hours, potential clients browsing your calendar at 8:00am will see appointment times starting at 10:00am.
How does the booking buffer affect matching?
We've seen that clients typically prefer to book sooner rather than later, so our matching algorithm places a preference on experts who have sooner availabilities. That means that you'll get more business with a smaller booking buffer.
However, we also consider an expert reliability. So if you are constantly missing sessions with a 15-minute booking buffer, you will be down-ranked in our algorithm.
